Now I have passed through the spring of my life, when I was born, a new leaf on my parents’ tree, and I grew and I spread my realm of consciousness.  Being so young, my family and close friends were my world.  I thrived on them.  Quickly I grew as the season melded into summer. (more…)

Performance & Achievement

PERFORMANCE & ACHIEVEMENT

I set apart an hour of my time today to help a friend with her statistics assignment.  As hard as I had tried, I could not get matching answers for the integrations.  It frustrated me that something I could once do so well now evaded my thoughts.  I remember thinking “What use does this have anyway?  Why go beyond the basics?”  In vain attempt I reworked the problem.  By doing so I was struck by an answer to my own question.
